Patient Cancellation Policy
In order for us to provide you the best possible care, it’s important that we have the time available to do so. Once your appointment
has been booked with us, we kindly ask that you respect the time which has been allocated by attending 5-10 minutes early to ensure
that we’re able to run on time for you, and hence subsequent patients who might be booked after your appointment time.
A cancellation made with less than 72 hours’ notice (3 working days) significantly limits our ability to make the appointment
available to another patient in need. Therefore, we have implemented the following appointment cancellation policy:
- In the event that you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment please provide us with 72-hours’ notice (3 working days)
to avoid a cancellation fee. This will allow us the opportunity to offer the appointment to another patient who might be waiting
to be seen. If we are closed, or you are unable to get through to the practice, you can leave a message on our answering machine
or email us at info@sjrdental.co.uk.
- A failure to attend a booked appointment without proper 72-hours’ notice (3 working days) may be charged at £50 per 30-minute
allocated appointment time.
- If you are 15 minutes (or more) late for your appointment, the appointment may have to be cancelled and rescheduled and you may
be charged for a missed appointment.
- As a courtesy, we make reminder calls/messages for appointments one day in advance. If a reminder call or message is not received,
the cancellation policy remains in effect.
If you have any questions regarding this policy, please feel free to discuss it with our staff and we will be happy to clarify any
questions you may have.
